Help wanted from cyborgs

Hi everyone, I'm currently doing some reasearch at the moment into areas such as human enhancement and the blurring of boundaries between man and machine. One of the areas I'm looking into is cyborgs and this is where I need your help. I need to know what people think the definition of cyborgs is. Does it only refer to those that have artificial parts implanted in their bodies or can it have a loser definition and incorporate people who blurr human/artifical boundaries through the use of personal computers and the like? also, for those that do habitually use personal computers or any other method to improve thier natural functions, do you strive to become merged even more with technology and do you think its the only way we will be able to successfully live in the future.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Igargoyle seems to be getting a lot more hits, which is great because after we went down for all that time, we lost a lot of our readership.

Anyways, it's really helpful to get article submissions. Having nudges like that and comments on the blog are really encouraging!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it!

http://infosthetics.com/archives/2005/07/wearable_synthe.html

a novel form of modular clothing, including inner wear, outer wear, accessories, hats & bags that all contain input & output modules which can be interlinked. as an example, when the inner wear senses the body temperature & changes its color, the outer wear can input this light output from the inner wear, hereby providing 'coordination of information'.

Website Down

Hey, it's me the main writer of igargoyle.com. Our hosting provider forgot to pay the bills, so the website is down, but lovely regine from http://nearnearfuture.com/ has got us something new in the works. I thought tribe would really help the feedback of the site, so I'll blogroll this onto the new site when things get sorted out.

Thanks,
nym
